The Kosovo Padel Federation National Men’s Team was established for the first time in 2024, marking a historic milestone for padel in Kosovo. In the same year, Kosovo made its international debut at the European Padel Championships held in Oslo, Norway, proudly representing the country on the European stage.

The first six players to represent Kosovo internationally were:

  • Lavdrim Krasniqi (Denmark)
  • Leotrim Krasniqi (Denmark)
  • Ardian Gashi (Switzerland)
  • Shkelzen Llapashtica (Kosovo)
  • Edon Ymeri (Kosovo)
  • Lorik Rexhepi (Kosovo)

The national team was led by Head Coach Flamur Ahmeti (Sweden), with Albin Jaha serving as Assistant Coach and Player, contributing both on and off the court during Kosovo’s first international appearance.


FIP Euro Padel Cup – Madrid 2025

In 2025, Kosovo continued its international journey by competing in the FIP Euro Padel Cup in Madrid, Spain. The national team squad for this competition consisted of:

The team was guided by Head Coach John Larsson (Sweden), with Albin Jaha again supporting the team in the role of Assistant Coach and Player, providing leadership, experience, and depth to the squad.


Training Camps & Development

As part of the federation’s long-term athlete development strategy, the Kosovo Padel Federation organized two official national team training camps in 2025, both held in Halmstad, Sweden. These camps focused on high-performance preparation, tactical development, and team cohesion.

The training camps were led by an experienced coaching staff including:

Growth of Padel in Kosovo

Through international competition, structured training camps, and collaboration with experienced coaches, the level of Kosovo’s padel players continues to develop and rise steadily. This growth is evident both among players based in Kosovo and among athletes from the Kosovo diaspora, whose international experience significantly strengthens the national team program.
