In 2025, the Kosovo Padel Federation proudly established the Kosovo National Women’s Padel Team for the first time, marking an important step in the inclusive and long-term development of padel in the country.
As part of this initiative, the federation planned the first official national women’s team training camp, scheduled to take place in Sweden, in collaboration with experienced coach Sofia Arvidsson. This training camp represents the foundation of the women’s national team program and focuses on skill development, team formation, and preparation for international competition.
Kosovo is fortunate to have a strong pool of talented female padel players competing abroad, including athletes based in Italy, Sweden, the United States, the United Kingdom, and across Scandinavia. In parallel, Kosovo has a growing number of former tennis players transitioning into padel, bringing valuable experience and competitiveness, and expressing strong interest in representing Kosovo at the international level.
Looking ahead to 2026, the Kosovo Padel Federation plans to:
- Organize women-only national tournaments
- Conduct additional national team training camps
- Officially represent Kosovo with both men’s and women’s national teams in international competitions
Through structured development programs and international exposure, the federation is committed to creating sustainable pathways for female athletes and strengthening Kosovo’s presence in international padel.
The Kosovo Padel Federation remains dedicated to supporting the growth of women’s padel and ensuring equal opportunities for athletes to represent Kosovo on the global stage.
