The process for the establishment of Padel Europe marked an important step in the organizational development of padel at the continental level. The official founding meeting of Padel Europe was held in 2024 during the European Padel Championships in Cagliari, Italy, bringing together national federations and key stakeholders to define the future governance and strategic direction of padel in Europe under the framework of the International Padel Federation (FIP).
Subsequently, the formal meeting at which national federations, including Kosovo, addressed and endorsed the candidacy of Padel Europe as the recognized governing body for padel in Europe under FIP took place on July 10, 2025. This meeting was held in Madrid, Spain, during the FIP Euro Padel Cup 2025, ensuring broad representation and alignment among European member federations.
The Kosovo Padel Federation actively participated in these institutional processes, reaffirming its commitment to the structured development of padel in Europe, compliance with international governance standards, and close cooperation with FIP and European counterparts. These developments further strengthen Kosovo’s role within the European padel community and contribute to the long-term, sustainable growth of the sport at both continental and international levels.
