Ministry of Sports

The Kosovo Padel Federation was established on August 28, 2021, with the aim of developing, regulating, and promoting padel as a sport throughout Kosovo.

In accordance with the Sports Law and regulations set by the Ministry of Sports, newly established sports federations are required to complete a minimum of 24 months of active operation before becoming eligible for official licensing. During this mandatory activity period, the Kosovo Padel Federation worked continuously to organize the sport, build its institutional structure, and expand padel activities nationwide.

As of January 1, 2024, the Kosovo Padel Federation was officially licensed by the Ministry of Sports for the first time. This milestone marked an important step in the federation’s institutional development. Through this official license, the federation became eligible to benefit from the Ministry of Sports’ budget allocated to national sports federations. In addition, the license enables the Kosovo Padel Federation to operate under the Sponsorship Law, allowing collaboration with businesses and companies that wish to support the growth and development of padel in Kosovo.

This recognition reflects the federation’s commitment to compliance, transparency, and the long-term development of padel at both national and international levels.
